INTRODUCTION- We have a tropical monsoon climate in our country which ultimately maintains hot weather throughout the year. Though according to our climatic classification summer continues from April to June but we experience high temperature throughout the year except in winter that is from December to February. So with the extreme sunlight rays, your plants can easily get burnt so you have to take full care of your plants. Now summer is knocking the door so you need to become cautious about your plants and take special care of the plants to revive in this season.
WATER PLANTS ADEQUATELY- In summer season like human being, plants also need excess water to survive in this season. Water is one of the most important elements that any plant should have in huge quantity during summer. So you are advised to water your plants regularly in adequate quantity.
WATER PLANTS IN THE RIGHT TIME- One of the most important thing you have to keep in mind during summer is the correct time of giving water to the plants. Because during the afternoon in the summer season the temperature is very high due to which water gets evaporated quickly and as a result of which plants have a shortage of water. So you must water your plants at the correct time like in the early morning or during the evening when the temperature decreases.
SHADE FOR THE PLANT- Plants also get burnt from the sunlight so you need to have a shade for those plants which are sensitive. Though sunlight is needed by them but still heavy sunlight can cause a problem. So you have to keep them in a shaded area for their protection.
SANDY SOIL MIXED WITH CLAY- If the soil of the pot or the garden is sandy then it will get dry very easily in the summer season. So you must add clay with the sandy soil so that it can retain moisture which will help your plants to grow properly during the summer season.
PRUNING OF PLANTS- Pruning of plants must be done properly so you have to take out a fixed time for proper care and have to remove all the unnecessary foliage which will help them to prevent unnecessary loss of water through transpiration.
REMOVAL OF WEEDS- You have to remove all types of weeds from the plants which prohibits the growth of the plants by eating nutrients and soil from the soil.
USING MANURE- You can apply manures like cow-dung, bone dust, hoofs and horns for the proper growth and development of the plants. These type of manure can be used once in two to four weeks.
GIVE WATER IN SMALL DOSES- You have to give water in small doses to all the plants with the help of water sprinkler, buckets and mugs in a regular manner during the summer season.
CONCLUSION- Lastly we can say that plants are extremely sensitive to the surrounding environment and require special care and protection for their survival with the changes in the weather condition. Especially high temperature during the summer season can cause huge damage to them despite their need for sunlight. So you must be fully prepared for protecting your plant from any kind of damage.
