Mint is one of the oldest and most popular herbs that are grown around the world. It is a herbaceous plant which grows like a weed, is perfectly safe for use, and is an excellent remedy for reducing symptoms related to diseases .It can be use for medicinal purpose it act as a very good cleanser for the blood and it also help in eliminating toxins from the body of the humans .These can be easily grow at home as it requires little space and human efforts and serves us indirectly in many ways . Mint grows in temperature climate usually on the moist soil in areas that provide enough direct sunlight .Fresh or dry leaves of mint are used in the preparation of various sweet or dishes at home. Most species of mints are perennial plants which mean that they can survive more than two years. Mint belongs to the Lamiaceae family, which contains around 15 to 20 plant species, including peppermint and spearmint .It is a popular herb that people can use fresh or dried in many dishes and infusions at home.

 Herbs has many benefits grown in your own backyard at home .Herbs are really very much beneficial as first aid for your body and also for your surroundings .Gardening in your backyard is healing for the adults and kids which establish a connection with the nature because of which it relives so much of stress .Fresh herbs are so much expensive in the market which will increase the monthly expense .When herbs grown in your own garden at home will save your money and provide fresh herb instantly for use .Herb container gardening is the good way to have control on your herbs growing next to your doorstep .You can move the container gardens when ever is required . Tulsi is a herb easy to grow and widely found in the Indian subcontinent, not only is tulsi a revered, holy plant in Hinduism it also finds its place in the ancient science of Ayurveda .

Coriander is a fast growing ,aromatic, annual herb that grows best in the cooler weather of spring at home .It refers to the seeds, which are typically ground and used as a spice .This happens after the plant  flowers and develop seeds .

Basil is an herb in the mint family .It adds flavour to meals , and its nutrients may provide health benefits .It provides some macronutrients, such as calcium and vitamin K, as well as a range of antioxidants .There are many varieties of basil ,as well as several related species or hybrids also called basil.

Ginger is a flowering plant whose rhizome, ginger root or ginger, is widely used as a spice and a folk medicine .It is a herbaceous perennial which grows annual pseudo stems about one meter tall bearing narrow leaf blades .It has a very long history of use in various forms of traditional/alternative medicine .It has been used to reduce nausea and help fight the flu and common cold.

Parsley is a mild bitter herb that can enhance the flavour of your foods. Many consider parsley just to be a curly green garnish for food, but it actually helps things like stews achieve a more balanced flavour .It is often grown as an annual, but in milder climates ,it will stay evergreen all winter long .Parsley plants will grow to be large and bushy.

Rosemary is one of the most flavourful herbs and is great for adding to things like poultry, meats and vegetables .Rosemary likes its soil a bit on the dry side ,so be careful not to overwater . Allowed to flourish, a rosemary plant will grow into a full-sized bush.

Peppermint like other mints, peppermint is known for aiding digestion and freshening   the breath. But peppermint is also a good source of calcium, potassium and vitamin B. Peppermint is a hybrid mint, being a cross between water mint and spearmint. Peppermint oil can be used for flavouring but is also useful as a natural pesticide .It has been shown to reduce the effects of irritable bowel syndrome .Peppermint prefers rich soil and partial shade .Like other mints, it spreads quickly so consider planting it in containers .
